Aero & GeForse 6600
Okay, I know the guys in the States have nothing to do with Pacard Bell
BUT..... I have a PB Easynote W7621 laptp. PB do not have any drivers for Vista at all, as far as I can see on their web site. Although Vista downloaded the updated drivers for my GeForce 6600 (256MB) and now my system runs fine in all resolutions..... How do I get it to run Aero? TIA |

By default Aero did not automatically appear on my computer. I had to go to
the desktop settings and enable it. I have Aero with only a FX5200 video card so you should be fine. Sorted.... Pulled down drivers off Nvidia site and also
www.laptopvideo2go.com for an updated inf file. Copied the new inf into the install dirctory and re-installed the video drivers. Gave me an alert indicating the drivers were not Vista certified but carried on. Working 100% at the moment although I have lost my external screen as I was dual screening. But that i not serious "Rick Hallman" wrote: By default Aero did not automatically appear on my computer. I had to go to the desktop settings and enable it. Keith, if you haven't already done so, go to the Nvidia website and get the
latest driver download for your graphics card. Look for Vista RC1 updates. The website will direct you to it. After you install that driver and reboot right click on your desktop and choose 'Personalize' Under the 'Appearance' heading you should see where you can change the color scheme. Just drop that menu down and choose 'Aero Glass' and that should give you what you're looking for. "KeithO" wrote: Okay, I know the guys in the States have nothing to do with Pacard Bell BUT.....
