Default Mouse issues after clean install & Updating

I have Beta 2 installed currently. I was experiencing problems with my mouse
clicking 2 times when I clicked it once, or at least effecting the objects it
was clicking. I decided to reisntall before placing RC1 on, thinking I had
screwed this up myself.

I completed a clean install, and went in to complete windows updating. It
notified me I had one update to isntall, so I installed and restated, up
untilt his point I had no issues with my mouse. Upon restart I again went to
windows update, and found 12 updates pending. I installed these updates and
restarted. Upon restart I began having the same issues with my mouse.

Has anyone else had this issue or found a way around it? It makes the OS
very annoying to use. I'm on a Micro Optical Mouse (those cheap ones you find
at Walmart).

On a side note if anyone at Microsoft happens to read this. Is it possible
to change the message from 1 new update (when there are about 15) to 1
priority download, 14 other updates availble. Or something along those lines.
Making the person feel that the OS is up to date when it isint is not good.
Especially for those of us comming off of linux where you never reboot unless
you have reason (and none of the new updates show up until you reboot).

Thanks!
Tim
