RC1 missing SATA Controller
Beta 2 didn't miss it, Win XP surely doesn't miss it, so why the heck is RC1
missing it??? RC1 fails to install the Intel 82801FR SATA AHCI Controller which came with my Dell 8400 PC. Instead I get the Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller...and this one keeps loosing my hard drives. At random, my 400GB drive will just vanish. When I try to install the Intel drivers, RC1 doesn't like it; and it either crashes with BSD or crash to a black screen or when it does boot, it fails to see the other drive, the 400GB one. Thoughts, help, suggestions, cry?? |
