I can upload files to a Vista PC using a LAN, however, while a phone
connection to the PC is fine (registered on the network) I am not then able to access the folders to upload anything. I can do it on every XP Pro machine with no problems |

A bit more information might help someone help you. -- Jay (remove dashes for legal email address) |

Thank you Jay,
What we do is upload the weekly advertising for each store in hundreds of shopping malls around the country. We have been doing this for many years with no trouble until we introduced las week 2 new PC with Vista Business. There is no problem to upload to the via a LAN connection but as soon as we try to do it remotely via dial up connection we can not access any of the folders that we share for this purpose. We agree that it should not be a difference between dialup network and LAN but somehow there is? We appreciate your help. Go to tat connections Properties to check, and set it if necessary. Jacques -- Jay (remove dashes for legal email address) |
