Power management not working in RC1?
I am running 32bit RC1 build 5600. I previously had the July CTP installed
(don't remember the build number). With the July CTP, power management worked. The hard disk spun down, display shut off, computer went to sleep, etc, etc, on schedule. After a clean install of RC1 however (installed to a new Windows folder), power management does not seem to work anymore. I have tried different plans with default and changed advanced settings. The only thing that seems to happen is the hard disk spinning down (from the sounds I hear). The display does not turn off and the computer does not go to sleep. Nothing has changed with my hardware or BIOS settings between the July CTP and RC1. |
