I have one vista computer with a wired connection and one with a wireless
connection to my router. I am using the VPN client that comes with vista and my connections are fine if I'm just hooking up to Exchange but if I try to upload files of more than a few megabytes the VPN connection is lost. It can immediately reconnect but the file copy will always cause it to disconnect. I have 2 other computers doing the same tasks with XP and they never drop a connection. Another note is that the XP computers transfer the files about 6 to 8 times faster. The server on the other end is ISA 2004. Thanks for any help David |

Bob,
I wonder if it might be worth trying to turn off autotuning before tweaking the MTU in these cases? MTU was the issue. I manually added the registry info and changed the MTU
size to 1372. That fixed it. If the auto-tune does the same thing I may try to play with those settings as well. In any case, thanks for the help.
