Default Radeon 9600 resolution problem

Hey all,

Just downloaded Windows Vista RC1 and so far so good... untill I ran into a
resolution issue!
My primary display will not display resolution over 1024x780 dispite prior
to installation of vista my monitor was running the 1280x1024 resolution
without difficulty. My monitor is a pretty generic 17incher but I've never
had an issue with it like this before. Any suggestions?

(I do some work with photoshop and whatnot so desktop space is a premium!)

Are you using the drivers from the following ATI link?

https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...olderID=571 2

Yea... I was using them,
but I rolled the drivers back to the microsoft drivers as a lot of threads
here were saying that was the thing to do. (i.e. I was still having the
problem with the ATI drivers).
