Media Player 11 for Vista will not open
Somewhat recently WMP has stopped working. When I click the icon, nothing
happens. I've searched on this forum and other sites, I've tried everything, but nothing fixed my problem. The program is not running in the Application or Processes tab of the Task Manager. I've tried to register some dll files as instructed by this site: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b/925704/en-us but still nothing. The only way i can run WMP is to right click on it, and click "Run as administrator". Has anyone had a problem like this?

Media Player 11 for Vista will not open
I am having the exact same problem. But WMP is not the only program I am having issues with. McAfee is also not working properly. When I click on it, a blank window appears.
