Windows Vista laptops can connect to 3Com access points but can only get
google.com and expedia.com. Outside of those two sites, I can not find any other sites that I can reach. I am getting DNS info, DHCP address. Tested this with a brand new Toshiba U305-S5127. Windows XP SP2 32 - Connected - surfed, pinged, tracert all successful. Same laptop different hard drive - Windows Vista Home Premium 32 connected, signal strength 100% (I was sitting under the AP) can not surf, can not ping Contacted the vendor that supplied the 3Com AP's - he contacted 3Com. 3Com reports that the problem is he device driver used in Vista. This sounds like a hardware vendor passing the buck. Anyone have any ideas?
