Sony Vaio Hot Key
I had the same problem with my Viao, but found and downloaded the Windows
Vista Realtek HD audio beta drivers from the following website: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...Audio%20CODECs Sound now works great. Cheers... "jyou" wrote: I tried that but no luck. Vista reports sound is there, and I could even see the bars moving when playing music, but no sound comes through speaker. It's really weird. Thanks anyway. YMMV. -- Driver Carries No Cash HE'S MARRIED "jyou" wrote in message ... I installed 32bit on my Sony Vaio S260. I couldn't get the hotkey work. But even worse, the sound does not work either. The funny thing is that all drivers are properly installed and the sound indicator flashes meaning that sound is working. Yet there is no sound from the speaker. Any idea? "Penny" wrote: Hi, i am testig both 64 & 32 versions of vista, whilst the 64bit is running without any hardware problems, the 32bit refuses to install or activate the keyboard hot key functions. Whist the general sound can be turned down in other controls the main feature of utilizing TV out cannot be activated and is becoming a little annoying. Vista is running perfect and i need the TV out to work...any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. |
