Network Authentication in Vista Business...
I am currently trying to connect to the Univeristy of Florida's network; dhnet.
When I right click my connection and click Properities. And then go to the Authentication tab, I cannot select "Settings" for a Protected EAP. I've already stumped the first 3 IT guys from UF with this question, and it seems like this problem only happens with me. I have disabled all the firewalls and have an adminstrator level account. My brother, who has the exact same computer, also has this problem. The computer is a Sony Vaio SZ480 with Vista Business. Thank you very much in advance for any help! Michael

Is it possible that group policy restrict the access. Try this command Gpresult.exe to check the group policy status.

I typed that into the command prompt, but I'm not really sure where to go
from there. Is there a message I am looking for? It said "Applied Group Policy: Filtering: not applied empty But it did say I was part of a bunch of security groups.
