Default DNS problems with Linksys WRT54GS

If i have my linksys wrt54gs router connected on my lan I keep getting dns
errors when trying to load any microsoft web pages. Some websites work,
others dont. I know my network connection is good. If I connect my computer
with Vista directly to the internet (bypassing the linksys router) it works
flawlessly. Can someone point me in the right direction on how to resolve
this issue. I have 3 other computers running winxp and they work flawlessly
when connected to the internet thru the linksys router. I know its a setting
in Vista, but I cant find it.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Does your PC use a Marvell ethernet controller? If so, go into the
properties page for the Marvell, Advanced tab, and disable all the 'checksum
offload' options. This is fixed in build 5728.

Thank you Tim. That was exactly the problem I was experiencing. I do have
the onboard Marvell ethernet controller. I turned off all the "checksum
offload options and it works perfectly. Can you tell me what effect this
will have on my system? Thanks again.

Cheers
