I've been trying to access a shared folder on my Windows ME computer from
Vista for backup purposes over a LAN. However, when I use the Backup and Restore Center it asks for a user name and password to access the shared folder. Neither the shared folder or the ME computer require a password to open. I've tried using both my Vista and ME logon details but this hasn't been any use. The strange thing is, I can read and write to the folder through the standard Start -Network. Does anybody have any suggestions? Daniel. |
