Default Vista5600 on an MSI K8?

I have a MSI K8NGM2-FID and can"t get past setup no matter what I do. Has
anyone been able to install Vista RC1 on this motherboard? I have been able
to install it on an NF3 and a NF2 build ,so it's not the dvds or the
hardware, as I used the same hardware except for the motherboard . Any help?
K8 board, 1gb of ram an 80 gb WD harddrive and a Lite-on DVDRW AMD 3500 cpu.
Any help /suggestions?

Default BIOS updates for RC1

Many MOBO manufacturters released BIOS updates at the same time RC1 was
released to apparrently resolve some RC1 issus(s). So I suggest that you
check for a one.

Default BIOS updates for RC1

Latest bios is 3.5 released in June 2006 so, no new bios yet. I guess the key
is to keep checking MSI for a new one . Thanks

Default BIOS updates for RC1

Are you sure you are using the correct RC1 release for your CPU 32bit(X86)
or 64Bit?

Yup, made sure I downloaded 32 bit, because I knew those drivers were bad
enough to get, without fooling around with 64 bit ones.

Are you saying that you have a 64bit chip and yet you did not even want to
try the 64 bit drivers for your chip?

Enough problems with 32 bit drivers. I updated video to a X700 Radeon video
card. Card installed perfectly, and took care of a driver glitch of the
onboard video.
