Default ICS fail to start, IPV6 stack issue

Also, when I go to Services to start ICS, this message comes up:

"The Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) service on Local Computer started and
then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by
other services or programs"

ICS remains not started.

You may try netsh command to fix it. This link may help,

Error codeError 10047: An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used. Ping: transmit failed, error code 10050 or 65 PING: transmit failed, error code ...

I could not find anything that helped me in that link. However, I did search
around and tried the following:

netsh interface ipv6 6to4 set state state=disabled

After I ran this, I got an "OK.", so I assume it worked. But I tried
starting ICS again, still no go.

I also disabled teredo, I read somewhere that it might be helpful. Still
nothing.

Just to add: When I start ICS under "Services", no error comes up in the
event viewer - there's just a popup message saying it cannot start (see post
above).

It is only when I go to the properties of my connection and check the enable
ICS box that I get the stack error.

Please help!

In the link Error 10047: An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used , it says: Resolution: Try this command; netsh Winsock reset.
