Hello Bill,

I asume you've tried the F6 once the installation begins? By the way I
needed to start my PC with the Vista DVD inside, to start from scratch, so I
was able to use F6. The initial start of the installation Vista DVD in my
WinXP_MCE din't work becaus it din't allow me to use F6.

I have a Dimension 8400, running BIOS version A08. I installed the latest
drivers for the 82801FR RAID, version 6.0.11.x, aand Vista will still not let
me upgrade my XP MCE box. I have more than enough resource, and the Vista
Upgrade Advisor says that I am good to go. The Dell Vista Advisor also
indicated readiness for Vista upgrade. Does anyone know what I need to do to
get past the block on this HW device in upgrade?
