i have 3 hard drives 1st=xp 2nd=vista 3rd=personal folder/s. My problem is
when i log to my hdrive "1st=xp" i can access my folder in my 3rd hard drive but i can't open all .exe files inside my folder it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item." before this happens i totally can't access my folder in 3rd hard drive i get "access denied" error using xp OS but using vista theres no problems at all, what i did was i load vista, go to my 3rd hard drive open my folder, cut all the sub-folders & files, and then create a new folder in E: which is my "3rd hard drive" and then paste it there. after that i was able to access get in my folder usiing xp & vista but using xp i can't run my .exe files there "by the way my .exe files are not setup files". i hope someone can help me with this. |
