Further to the posting repeated below, I am able to access the USB drive
from the laptop using "run". Its drive letter shows up as X$. I need help! "I merged partitions on the USB drive connected to the desktop computer in my two computer network. This USB drive is used for backup for both the desktop machine and my laptop. After the merge, I could no longer see the USB drive. I gave it a new drive letter using disk management and can now see it on the desktop machine. However, I does not appear on the network when viewed from the laptop. I'm stuck." Peter |
