Default NVidia 96.33 beta driver

In the release notes it is states "This driver does not support the SDI
(serial digital interface)."

Is SDI synonymous with a DVI connection to the monitor - vs. VGA - in
this case?

If that is the case, it may explain why the NVidia Control Panel here is
devoid of many settings.

SDI is NOT synonymous with DVI or HDMI.
SDI is the protocol used mainly by the network broadcasters to upload or
download programs with the larger satellite dishes you see on their trucks
or at their locations.
If you download the Classic version of the User Guide from driver download
screen you may find more of the information you are looking for on
configuring the drivers.

Did you try changing STANDARD VIEW to ADVANCED VIEW
on the top? Just a suggestion - no idea if it will solve your problem.

Yes, literally every menu option has been tested. Only "multi-monitor"
and "3D" configurations are present in the NVidia Control Panel; no
brightness, contrast, gamma, sizing, etc., despite the fact that HELP
suggests that they should be present.

As a broadcaster, I am aware of that application of SDI. However, the
NVidia release notes hint that this terminology may be applicable to the
situation described. Quote...

"This driver does not support the Serial Digital Interface (a standard
for driving high depth depth displays).

In that context it appears that not all NVidia CP features may be
available digitally (DVI) driven monitor.

Please point out the URL where the Classic version of the User Guide can
be seen; I can't spot it on the driver d/l screen...

Is your Vista monitor being driven digitally (DVI) or via a VGA cable?
If the former, that would tend to confirm my results. Thanks.

I also only have multimonitor and 3D settings in control panel, and I'm
using the VGA cable.
