Default 6to4 adapter

i too have this problem. ive just bought new pc and loaded vista home
premium on it, got sky broadband(UK) router works ok as laptap is using
internet ok, main pc says windows cannot detect any networking hardware.
device manager says 6to4 windows cannot load drivers (code 31) update
driver software and it says up to date!!
i think ive done as you have said and changed the registry and set
value to 255, nothing has changed for me. i still cannot get on net on
my pc. really confused by this, has microsoft come up with an answer??

I have tried all that - it doesn't seem to connect at all - even when I disable everything as denoted in the error message 'an error occured while releasing interface Loopback Pseudo - Interface 1 - The system cannot find the file specified.
The operation faled as no adaptor is in the state permissible for the operation

What do I do now?

It would be straightforward if it wasn't Vista!

You have tried all what? You failed to quote any of the previous discussion
so we have no idea what you have tried or what the problem even is.
If this is in response to a reply on this forum, reply to that, do not start
a new thread.

the OP is posting from this:
NNTP-Posting-Host: 72.29.94.49.static.dimenoc.com 72.29.94.49

I can only assume it's some sort of web-based forum as there are lots of
orphaned posts like this appearing in the MS newsgroups from this NNTP host.
However, I'm hanged if I can find the forum they are being posted from....
