Default unidentied network

I got a new LENVO Laptop and bought Vista Ultimate. I have problem while
accessing the internet from home. Configured the IP, DNS .... which my ISP
has provided.

Tried following options :
1. unchecked the IPV6
2. disabled the firewall
even then im getting the same error saying "Unidentified network".

With windows XP desktop i'm able to access.
With the same setting in laptop i'm able to access the internet at my
friends place with my laptop, but not from my home!!!

Please can anyone help me out !!!!
