"howaylads" wrote: I'm having the same problem but with Outlook 2007. I compiled an email to send to a number of people. It has some photos and text in it. It seems to send to one person OK but when I try to send it to multiple email addresses, the send/receive dialog box goes crazy, saying it's performing hundreds of tasks - I have to go to the Task Manager and quit Outlook to stop it. Then the offending email is sitting in my outbox and I can't delete it, move it to another folder or anything. If I try to open it, Outlook tells me it has already started to transmit the message so can't open it. Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance. -- Spicemom I just found out after much time how to delete unsent emails from Outbox: In Windows Mail click "View", then "Layout" then "Local Folder" then "Outbox". Start at the top of your Outbox unsent emails and delete them one by one. They are gone. I deduced this after I spent hours on line with some overseas tech help and the message that I had unsent emails still popped up. It worked for me. Do you get an error message when you try to send emails? If so,
right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here. We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message. -- Gary VanderMolen, Microsoft MVP (Mail) http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/def...le/vandermolen "Khaskins" wrote in message ... Try working off line. Then delete the offending email. Then go back online I
had exactly the same problem as you, and this has worked twice for me now. Good luck "Shruti" wrote: Please help, Can't send emails from windows mail and can' delete the problem email. Regards Shruti |
