DVD-RAM Code 32 problem
Most of DVD driver problems on the forum seem to be regarding code 39. What
about Code 32? I'm getting "A driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)" I'm running Vista. I've tried uninstalling and re-booting, but no good. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

DVD-RAM Code 32 problem
I've seen this report around but it is written for Code 31 problems. It does
apply to Code 32, also? Thanks. "Cal Bear '66" wrote: Try this (also applies to Vista): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060/ -- I Bleed Blue and Gold GO BEARS! DVD-RAM Code 32 problem
Thanks a lot, it worked. I couldn't find LowerFileter, but deleting the
UpperFilter ones worked. But, what are the ramifications of deleting that? Thanks again! DVD-RAM Code 32 problem
You're welcome.
Having only one of the filters is rather common. The only ramifications that I know are as noted on that web page: Step 4: Restart the computer If a CD recording program no longer works after you restart the computer, you must reinstall the CD recording program.
