Hi,
the following problem: the WinXP Home computer can use resources from the WinVISTA Home Premium computer by using NET USE ... but not the other way the other problem: I'm trying to enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP on the WinVISTA Home Premium computer: I did it as it is explained he http://ecross.mvps.org/howto/netbt.htm but it still says that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is disabled, why? all three computers are behind a router and get their IP address from the DHCPserver of the router box. What is wrong? Thanks, Max |

I would check the firewall settings for the first issue.
