As well as Gloria's link, make sure in Vista's Network and sharing::
1 Network Discovery: ON 2 File sharing:ON 3 Password protect: OFF 4 Public Folder Sharing: ON 5 Network set to Private Workgroup names the same on ALL comps The Public in Vista is the same as Shared Docs in XP "Julio O." wrote: I can't add my new laptop with Vista to my Network in my PC with XP |
