I've not had time to read them all (bookmarked it for later), but in addition to #23 (keyboard shortcuts for first 10 icons on the quick launch bar)... You can assign keyboard shortcuts to any shortcut in the *start menu*. Right-click the icon, select properties, enter a shortcut key in the "Shortcut key" box, and click OK. Pressing Ctrl+Alt+YourKey then launches that shortcut. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to work the same for shortcuts on the desktop or quick launch bar, but you can always add one to the start menu if it's not already there. Mark. |

An excellent set of tips for the expierienced computer user who is upgrading
from a previous version of windows, but for the new user or a user coming over from another operating system, most of the tips are too advanced or lack more detailed instructions about use and function.
