Hi,
I am using the following: -Windows Vista Home Basic Edition. -A notebook connect to network via cable. -A shared file folder called Atomic in my network. The file is stored inside Quantum Snap! Server Model 2000. Using the software provided, i can setup user name, level and user access permission. Here is my problem, I manage to connect successfully to other PC on the network. I can access file folder set for Everybody. I cannot access file folder set for user "ABC" I check and confirm my user account name is "ABC" in Window Vista. I check the Server report, and it did not show "ABC" instead funny characters appeared for user which accessing the server. FYI, I also set Computer Name as "ABC" and it appear correctly in server report. What is the cause for this? Is there any solution for this? Thank you. -- Novice |
