I have connected to printer on xp machine from vista machine.
When attempting to print jobs go to the queue but just spool there and sit
never printing out. It took hours to get to this point but cannot figure
out what this problem can be caused by!!!!!

Have to downloaded the Printer's Vista Driver form the printers
manufacturer's site, and installed it on the vista machine.

Yes - oddly enough when I first went to the lexmark printer website I
downloaded the driver recommended and that did not work.
Then I did a google search for the vista driver and was directed to a
different driver.

I have installed this one and now the print job is in the queue and status
is now printing and the appropriate port is visible - However now I receive
an error that It cannot communicate with the printer!!!! I have 1 computer as
the host / 1 other computer that is on the network - both of these can print.
This is the 3rd computer I am attempting to share the printer with. You would
think that I've done this before why oh why I can't now is driving me crazy...
