Kingston DTI drivers are built into Vista. Try pointing the device driver
search to these locations, and include the subfolders:

\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
or:
\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers

Default Flash Drive doesnt install on vista

Hi,

at first sorry for mz english...

I've also simmilar problem with kingstone dti/4gb flash drive. Yesterday I
bought it.

I tried to install drivers from:
\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository
or:
\Windows\System32\Spool\Drivers
but it doesn't work...

Vista said during setup some "magic" words:

Windows encountered a problem installing th driver software for your device

Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while
attempting to install it.

USB Mass Storage Device

The system cannot find the file specified.

If you know the manufacturer of your device, you can visit its website and
check the support section for driver software."

Now I think then when I've bought Vista I've bought many problems...
I can't install not only this flash drive, I've also problem with Creative
Zen Stone 1GB or other devices like webcam Logiteh QuickCam Chat
Vista is the worst system I've ever used...

Anyone can help me?
