I have a HP Notebook which went off for repair recently. When it came back i
noticed that when i shut the lid, it did not put it in to sleep mode. When i went to change the settings in the Power option of the control panel i found that the option to change what the system does when the lid is closed is missing. I have tried every which way to find this option but it does not exist. I have contacted HP but the only thing they suggested was to do a system restart which i have tried and was a waste of time because it made no difference. The only thing i can think of is that there is an option to let the system know that this is a Lap Top and not a Desk Top PC?........ Any Ideas?? |
