5.1 Sound in Vista RC1 build 5600. Yes! Finally!

High Definition Onboard Audio: SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio. Audio
heaven.

Dell XPS/9150 dual core.

I have a complete total package using all kinds of DVD burning software.

The sole exception is Google Earth. Dang!

Hi Mick,

Google Earth now works for me, but I had to unckeck the XP SP2 compatability
mode. I wish I never checked that box to begin with.

As for AC97 driver the latest driver is here.
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...&GetDown=false

Setup info right click speaker in the taskbar.
1. Sounds Playback Speakers Configure
and
2. Sounds Playback Speakers Properties levels Balance

3. WMP no dvd playing; Options DVD Advanced
