Using a BT Home Hub.
How do I create an home network using a wireless laptop with Vista and a
wired PC with XP Pro?

Hi Ray,

If your PC is wired you don't have to change anything in it. Regarding
your Laptop with Vista do the following :

Go to Start/Connect To

This will show you all avaible networks in your area, choose the one
that is in your home (you can check the name of your network via XP Pc
that you have)

When you highlight the desired network click 'connect' in lower right
corner. The creator will ask you for the passcode, type it in, then you
will have to choose the security settings (again check with XP Pc which
settings you are using) after you choose the proper setting you should
automaticly connect to the network (note you will not be able to connect
if you don't choose the proper security settings so you can try each one
of them to check if you don't know which one your using)

Alternatively if you can't connect do the following :

Check with the voyager which is probably the supplier of your hub as
far as I know BT and as you will see the drivers for Vista are avaible
to download :

'BT.com | BT Voyager ADSL' (http://www.voyager.bt.com/)

Alternatively

Check with the BT how to set up your hub :
'BT.COM | Support & Advice'
