Some time ago I connected a XP Home and a XP Pro computer using a USB Data
Link Cable: Worked perfectly using the "data mode". Also connectect this two computers latere using the "network mode". Also worked perfectly (and still does!) - Network without network cards ;-) Yesterday I got my DELL XPS laptop using Vista Ultimate and a tried to connect my XP Professional and my Vistua Ultimate. Vista Ultimage does not recognize the Vivanco USB cable... Only one error message after other.... I just need a driver for the "Vivanco USB 2.0 High Speed" thing which works for Vista! - I don't like to mix cables (having two) or buy anothr special cable that also works for Vista stuff. I already have to cables!! Any ideas? |
