Well, I thought Cal Bear's advice yesterday would clear up the problem, but
it has not (I ensured that no movie files were in the folders being used for the screensaver). The "my pictures" screensaver is still freezing up randomly, requiring that I turn off the computer. I have a new Dell Inspiron 531 desktop, running Vista home basic. The system is just a few weeks old, and I have installed no games or programs. These same photos ran flawlessly on my old Dell with Windows ME. Are there any other ideas as to what might be causing this to occur? Thanks. |
