Default One Way Traffic for File & Printer Sharing

My Home Wireless Network is working perfectly except for the following.

I cannot access my Files or Printers/Ext HDD from my Laptop to my Desktop.
It works perfectly well vice versa, and the settings are the same.
Both PCs are runing Vista (Desktop=Home Premium/Laptop = Home Basic)

The Network Map shows both PCs on both PCs; but when I 'View computers and
devices' on my Laptop theres no sign of my Desktop.

Both Pcs are running Windows One Care, and the Firewall settings match each
other.

All the settings (and far as I can see/tell) are identicial on both PCs

HELP!!
