hdd not recognised in vista
iv recently put a new hard drive in my pc but windows vista wont recognise
that it is there. it appears in the bios and under partitioning programs but not any were in vista. not even the disk management.

did you perchance install a SATA HD without installing the SATA drivers from
you mobo??? Find the SATA drivers for your particular mobo chipset....mobo manufact.
