Default Media Sharing and Share Video from a UNC Path

In Windows Media Connect on Windows XP you could publish media that was on a
UNC path. I have my librarry in WMP 11 setup and it points to my UNC paths.
My connection from my Xbox 360 to my Vista computer works fine and I can se
the folder; however there is nothing in them except for the default sample
files.

I want to play the music and video from a UNC on my Xbox 360 and other
devices. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I think they have really
reduced the functionality of this by not having this as a seperat
application like they did in XP.
