I bought a new toshiba satellite about 2 months ago. I just got on the
internet with it for the first time yesterday. I tried to do some of the downloads for vista, and when microsoft attempeted validating my windows I received a message that my version was not valid. How do I fix this. I know, positively, that this is a brand new computer with the factory supplied version of windows vist on it. I have a product key, and there is a sticker on the bottom of the computer that says it is a certificate of authenticity. Somebody please help me. |

I had a similar problem I used the telephone activation procedure that also failed I then used the option to speak to Microsoft support, explained the probem and then took me through a procedure to get it activated. -- Johnny Woodhouse |
