i cannot start file sharing or printer sharing. is this because my
workstation service is not started. because there is no service called workstation on my computer. |

File sharing or printer sharing is a server service. It depends upon the "File and Printer Sharing For Microsoft Networking" network component. i think i figured it out. but i cant re-install client for microsoft network.
it wont let me. the error message is, "Could not add the requested feature. The error is: The system cannot find the file specified." i already tried replacing the localspl.dll file. that didnt work.
