Hi, I've tested Beta2 and now RC1.
I've noticed something strange using NAS (Network storage) The NAS unit is a "Buffalo NAS 160" connected on my home network behind a router+switch (Linksys WRT54G) I connect from business to my home network via a VPN : all is OK I can manage my NAS using IE7 : no problem BUT here is the strange feature : in the address field of Explorer i enter something like \\192.168.nn.nnn\myshare. A few times after the system ask me for user/password XP : no problem, files and folders of \myshare can be accessed VISTA : the system answer me that user or password are wrong. I've tried to specify Domain , verified CAPS, etc... never works. I've made the test on _3 PCs with XP (same domain or not) : no problem _3 PCs with Vista : same problem Very curious. Because i don't know where to report that, please forward (copy/paste) to the right Discussion Group/Bug report page. Thanks, David |
