Default driver for Hp nc6000 WL400/500

Has anyone found drivers for the WL500 MPCI wireless card from HP. Using it
in an NC6000 and I am unable to find any drivers for it. Windows update
does not have anything nor does HP's web site. The card is OEM'd from
Ambit.
Thanks in advance.

Your suggestion(?) makes absolutely no sense!

Microsoft is not responsible for hardware drivers!

The manufacturer or vendor is where you should be directing
your situation to!

Don't rely on HP for any assistance with Vista dirvers/updates/software.
They are completely uninterested in providing any dirivers (even ones in
beta) to anyone who has install a pre-RTM version of Vista.

I've has several very rude experiences with this since I've installed Vista
RC1 trying to see if they have anything available designed for Vista and all
they say is installing Vista voids your warranty with HP.

So most likely if you are trying to get something from HP, unless it has
been submitted to MS for Windows Update, you are SOL until after RTM and
units start to ship with it. This come from someone who used to work in the
MS OEM division so I know what the OEMs' development process for new OS
upgrades.

HP is being the worst.

Very sad.
