Default Boot up issues

Everytime I try to start boot up my laptop, Vista will not display the logon
screen. It just sits at a black screen. Any suggestions????

Hi,

A black screen immediately after the POST? Or partways into Windows loading?

Have you tried safe mode or last known good configuration by hitting F8 as
Vista begins to load?

Try system restore from some previos date but U must know that will
uninstall all your programs that you have installed after that date.

I have a similar problem with Vista. The only way I can get it back is to
unplug and remove the battery. Then when I put the battery back, it will boot.
