Default Joystick

Hi, I have Flight Simulator X ( Demo ) installed on RC2 5744. I do not have
a joystick or game controller. Is there one that will work with my setup and
if so what is it. I have looked through the Vista games, hardware and
general newsgroups but don't see anything about this.

I'm using Microsoft's SideWinder Precision 2 joystick with Flight Simulator X
demo on RC2 5744 and it works great. I didn't have to load any driver - the
joystick was immediately recognized by Vista RC2.

Doug,

Just about any USB joystick will work just fine out of the box with Vista.
Even my ancient Microsoft Force Feedback 2 joystick works fine under Vista.

Should you not want to pick up a joystick, FSX works with both mice and a
keyboard.

You can pick up pretty much any USB joystick and it should work. I'm
using a cheap Microsoft stick, and it's good. Although a nice yoke and
pedals would be nice!
