Default Windows Vista Connection Problem

Okay i don't know much about computers but i got a laptop for my birthday. i
came with Windows Vista Home Basic and works great, but i recently upgraded
to Home Premium. I didn't know how to replace Basic with premium so now i
have two OS. MY wireless internet works on basic but not on Premium.
Any help???
