Wireless Card cannot start (Code 10)

I am using Vista RC1 and having the most annoying problem with my wireless
adapter. My PC connects to my wireless network via a Netgear WG311v3 PCI
Adapter. The adapter has been updated with the latest Netgear firmware.

Vista insists on installing the Marvell Livertas drivers for my card, and
refuses to install the Netgear drivers, stating the "File could not be found"
when installing the drivers. This makes no sense to me, as I pointed the
wizard to the drivers.

But that isn't my main problem. My adapter liturally 'dies' whenever Vista
reboots, shuts down, hibernates or sleeps. When putting the computer back on
after resuming from standby or hibernation, one of two things happen:

a) The adapter refuses to function on the network it is apparently connected
to, and when I disconnect it to start it again, it refuses to connect. When I
restart, b) always occurs

b) The card is not recognized by Vista and Device Manager lists the device
as Code 10 (Unable to start device).

Option b) occurs after any reboot. The only way I have found to resolve this
issue is to uninstall the adapter in Device manager, reboot the PC, then it
seems to be random as to if the device will start or do a code 10 again.

Can anyone provide me with a solution for this problem?
