Default Turn off atoplay feature for USB hard drive?

On my computer I have a USB external hard drive and when my system comes out
of sleep the autoplay kicks in.
Is there a way to disable the autoplay feature for just the USB hard drive
(but leave the autoplay for ALL other things).

Any help/ advice or comments would gratefully accepted.

You may want to take a look at your drivers for that hard drive. What may be
happening is when the system comes out of sleep, it discovers the device as
new.

Try to re-install the driver using the EXE file in the driver disk. If that
doesn't work, try loading it, using the "update driver" option, and pointing
to the driver CD. This may fix your issue.

Please send a bug report on this *now*, so it could be fixed in the Service pack 1,
or some earlier update.
