Firsts problems with Vista Ultimate RTM (x86)
1º. nForce4 MCP Drivers (Enthernet controller) Provided by Microsoft (Native) don't negotiate a speed of 1Gigabit, in TaskBar appear as Gigabit when unplugged, but whem plugged only work at 100Mbps. 2º. Radeon X550 with Monitor PnP Provided by Microsoft (Native) don't return the correct resolution. I have a display with a max resolution 1280x768 and the max Windows resolution is 1024x768. Workaround is prepare the mousepointer to click "Scan for hardware Changes" in Device Manager and unplug the cable Monitor and click. The new device is "Generic Non-Pnp Monitor" The installation has been make from a Clean Installation. All device (nForce4 MCP, Radeon X550 & PnP Monitor) work OK in Windows XP Pro (my previous version). How many time dedicates Microsoft to certify drivers ? |
