acer awaiting ms green light for releasing vista drivers
Sadly, Microsoft has nothing to do with when Acer releases their drivers.
Acer needs to complete the drivers, then if they wish, they can submit them for WHQL certification and such. But there's nothing to prevent Acer from doing as dozens of hardware manufacturers have already done and release their drivers now. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] * NEW! Thanks for the sound input. Reckon you right. Acer is pretty sluggish when it
comes to drivers support. Guess they are just trying to rid any of those vista driver issues. "Richard G. Harper" wrote: Sadly, Microsoft has nothing to do with when Acer releases their drivers. acer awaiting ms green light for releasing vista drivers
Toshiba has released beta drivers for my Tecra M5 for Vista Beta 1 then RC-2
now some of them don't work with the RTM version. so it's a waiting game for me until they do. a few of my sofware applications don't work either on RTM, so the move to Vista for me may come mid 2007 "Richard G.
