Two Pcs in a home network
one has Vista One has ME both same workgroup:Mshome Can see the Mshome on both PCs Can't see each othe;direct connect (X cable) or Hub, or router won't help Vista PC has this settings: In vista Network and Sharing: 1 network discovery:ON 2 file sharing:ON 3 public folder sharing:ON 4 password protected:OFF I am a novice in networking and need help. Do a simple test. If turn off the firewall, can you ping each other by IP?
