Hello, I am desperately hoping someone can help me!
I had XP Pro and, because there were multiple admin accounts, I encrypted my files by right clicking them properties advanced ecnrypt contents to secure data. Anyway, I backed them up before installing Vista but didn't decrypt them. Now, I cannot get them to open in Windows Vista Ultimate. I have checked that I am the owner and I have full access, but they still do not open. Trying to decrypt them doesn't work, either. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |

Short of an expensive commercial file recovery service, you're pretty much
out of luck on this request. -- Richard G. Harper [MVP Shell/User] * NEW! If you still have access to the XP system, you can export the keys. However
if you don't you are pretty much done. "rizzy" wrote in message ... Hello, I am desperately hoping someone can help me!
